They want guarantees.
But the wild offers no such comfort. It speaks a language of its own.

Broken branches.
Uneven tracks.
Bones tied where no wind should reach them.

These aren’t decorations.
They’re warnings left by something that has already passed through-and may still be watching.

Ignoring them is how people die.
Stopping too long to look at them is how they’re caught.

The Ranger reads the land the way others read scripture.
Every mark is a sentence.
Every shadow, a footnote.

They know exactly what lies ahead.
They know how many didn’t make it back.

And still-they step forward.

This isn’t the courage of ignorance.
It’s the discipline of awareness.

To wear this is to claim a different relationship with danger.
Not denial, not bravado, but informed resolve.

For those who don’t ask if it’s dangerous.
Only whether it must be done.

The one who reads the warnings and advances anyway.
